"Farmers' creamery in Horn Lane, 1898". The Scott Valley Creamery was organized by the dairy farmers of Upper Scott Valley in 1895. The leaders were A.H. Denny, J.W. McBride, The Fay Bros., John Smith, The Wolford Bros and Tom Timmons. It was located in a pine grove west of the Horn Bridge on the Etna Callahan's road. Scott Valley Creamery, Erected by Baker and Hamilton Creamery Builders and Outfitters. San Francisco, California 1894. Susie Smith, Etna.
