Used in the Exhibit: Play by Play - A Century of L.A. Sports Photography, 1889-1989 USC's Rod Dedeaux, before coaching the U.S. Olympic baseball team. The Hollywood High grad had a cup of coffee with the Brooklyn Dodgers, then spent 45 years at USC. He managed or co-managed 11 national championship teams--including an unheard-of five in a row, 1970-1974--and sent 200 ball players to the Majors, including Tom Seaver, Randy Johnson, and Fred Lynn.
