Description and images of the painting "Performer Resting," by artist Walt Kuhn. Reed was the model for this painting. The first page, a color image of the painting, was printed from a website, likely by Reed's family. The following four pages, a black and white image of the painting and a folder with handwritten notes on it, are photocopies of the original records from the Walt Kuhn Family Papers Collection in the Smithsonian Archives of American Art.
