Description
Republican mural, Falls Road, West Belfast, 1988. Mural depicts the three IRA Volunteers on bombing mission, killed by British SAS in Gibraltar, March 1988. Quote on boards, here destroyed, read: 'I have always believed we had a legitimate right to take up arms', taken 'from an interview given by IRA volunteer Mairead Farrell, executed with her gallant comrades Sean Savage & Dan McCann'.
