Caption from March 10, 1968 Sacramento Bee reads "Fred S. Miller compares the first successful jet-assisted takeoff unit with a 10-inch-diameter large solid-fuel rocket motor at the Aerojet-General Corp.'s Sacramento plant. The tiny device was one of the items presented to the Smithsonian Institution in Washington."
