Photographic portrait of a man at a potter's wheel on Olvera street, ca.1940-1949. A man with a large moustache sits behind a potter's wheel, a pot overturned on its surface. The man wears a large straw sombrero, a collared shirt, a tie, and a west. Another potter's wheel sits to the left of the one he uses, while other pots, clay, and equipment can be seen in the background. A window or doorway in the right background of the image reveals trees.
