Article dated February 19, 1965 partially reads, "The beautiful Joan Freeman is shown twiddling the dials of a receiver in a Valley hi fi emporium. (She's in 'The Rounders' with Glenn Ford and Henry Fonda - she lives in North Hollywood.) The receiver is Kenwood's KT-10, an all-transistor model selling for $299. With a pair of loudspeakers, you would need absolutely nothing else to receive true high-fidelity music. This Kenwood model has no conventional tubes, produces no heat, can be built into existing furniture or placed on an end table."
