Description
Connie and John begin the interview talking about the book’s background and what con artistry means to the main characters. They proceed to discuss John’s inspiration for the novel and his own background, and what the idea of art actually is, before returning to the book’s characters and plot. John discusses his writing style and process, and comments on his life as a screenwriter and poker player. He then talks about his next book projects, and specifically discusses his future writing memoir. Connie has John read a passage from the book, and they then discuss John’s language in his writing. Connie closes the interview requesting an autograph for her copy of the book.
