Photograph of the Crawford powered glider, showing Crawford in the pilot seat on Seal Beach, April 1, 1930. Crawford sits at left in a sweater, leather boots, and a cap with goggles around his head. He holds the joy stick that operates the glider which contains him. The engine is exposed just under the small propeller.
