Notes from reverse of image: "South Fair Oaks on West side, Ward building at far right. Christian Church, at left blew down in 1891. Photo before 1892. " There is an unidentifiable hanging figure centered, far right in the photograph. Supplemental documentation dates the picture (11-6-85) and notes: "As a result of mob violence."
