Photograph caption dated June 19, 1966 reads, "More than 250 mothers from as far away as San Diego carried placards and flags as they paraded in front of L.A. Federal Building in support of American fighting men in Viet Nam. With spokesman Mrs. Bea Zigler (holding flag) are Mrs. Virginia Evers, left, of San Diego and Mrs. George harder of San Marino."
