This photo shows one of the typical families in its Warehouse Town home. It is not luxurious living, to be sure, but there is a roof overhead, beds to sleep in, electric light, gas stoves, and food to eat. The town is run by a regular "city government," including a "mayor," a board of directors and secretaries of labor, commissary, transportation and entertainment. The contact secretary lines up employment and the labor secretary gives the jobs. Photo dated: May 4, 1934.
