Photo--black and white: Evalyn (Evaline) Berry Scudder, resident of this house at 211 Florence Avenue in 1909 with three of her four grandchildren. Evalyn was married to Jacob Sandford Scudder (1852-1911) who was a clerk and the San Francisco Custom House circa 1880. Evalyn is hold Wendell Phillips, son of Evalyn Elizabeth Scudder (m. Phillips) and Arthur Phillips. Seated on steps L-R: Elaine and Edna, daughters of Hattie Louise Scudder Mills and Asa Mills. Their oldest child: Earl Scudder Mills is not in the picture.
