Photographic portrait of a man with a flounder on the Manhattan Beach pier, May 27, 1937. The man is standing at center and is looking at the viewer. He is holding an eight-pound flounder in one hand and a thin fishing pole in the other. Behind him, several people can be seen fishing off of the side of the pier. In the background, many beach houses and other buildings can be seen on the shore.
