Description
Image contains seven vignettes depicting various stages in the coining of money. One vignette is an exterior view of the Branch Mint. "Herrick SC."--text, within the upper left and lower right vignettes. "Eastman."--text, within the upper center and lower left vignettes. "Butler."--text, within the upper right and middle left vignettes. "[A. Nahl.]"--text, within the lower left vignette. The sheet is torn on the right side, and the vignettes on the right are missing portions. It also appears that the sheet was cut along the top and bottom. The top portion of some text can be seen at the bottom of the sheet. "[Published by Hutching [sic] & Rosenfield, 201 Clay St, Plaza, San Francisco. Excelsior Print, Clay St.]"--text, below image, from Baird. Paper color: blue.
