Photograph caption dated June 26, 1961 reads "Ben Seal, 22, 6934 Melba Ave., and Sandra Everson, 20, 7229 Ponce St., Canoga Park, leave Pierce College as Man and Woman of the Year. The school's Association of Men and Women Students selected the pair for 'participation in and contributions to student activities at Pierce College.' Miss Everson will complete her studies at the college next semester. Seal is a recent graduate."
