Nepal is placed between China to the North and India to the South. Size of the country is three times Denmark with a population of about 30 million (2014). In 1953 Nepal decided to have open borders to the outside world. And from 1980 the Danish Santal Mission started mission work in Nepal in cooperation with United Mission to Nepal (UMN), an international, interdominational mission society.
