Photograph was edited for publication purposes Devonshire Downs, also known as The Downs, was a multipurpose event facility and horse racing track, located at the southwest corner of Devonshire Street and Zelzah Avenue in Northridge. The site was renamed North Campus after it was acquired by California State University, Northridge. Photograph caption dated February 13, 1958 reads, "Valley business leaders attend 'get acquainted' meeting to formulate plans for Valleywide Industrial Conference to be held at Devonshire Downs, March 19.
