Description
Annotation translation: "Christian wedding in Dadahup (explanation see the rear of the photograph [= this text in the annotations]: christians, non-christians and muslims take part in the festival. In order to allow the muslims to take part the cow has to be slaughtered by a muslim in the ritually proper way. Cooking goes on under muslim supervision, to see that nothing 'unclean' happens or is added to the food. The whole house is decorated with paper and colourful blooms and palm leaves. There is plenty of time to talk to non-christians at an event like this, since, because of the food, they do not run away."
Annotation: "Christl.
