Photograph caption dated July 18, 1960 reads, "Filming antiquities - Ralph Franklin, 32-year-old Van Nuys Bible student, has returned from the Middle East where he shot 6,000 feet of cinemascope film of antiquities and relics depicting Bible history. These soon will be destroyed by waters of Nile upon completion of dam at Awsan, Egypt."
