There is a row of stores, shops, and booths along both sides of the boardwalk on the left which, together with the rides, made up the Pike amusement park. In the background, the pier extends out into the ocean, with the Sun Pavilion at the southernmost end. There is a mechanical ride on the far right, next to the lunching pavilion.
