He states that CEOs of non-profits must follow a mission in their leadership. He discusses the differences between CEOs of non-profits, religious institutions, and colleges. DePree talks about the importance of both group and individual communication. He describes the role of a chairman versus the role of a board member. He ends the interview by talking about his own experience working at Hope College.
