Description
In this audio recording Peter F. Drucker interviews Max DePree in his audio book, “The Nonprofit Drucker.” This tape is part of the series, “People and Relationships.” Drucker begins by introducing DePree as the CEO and Chairman of Herman Miller furniture, a company he has worked for 40 years. He states that CEOs of non-profits must follow a mission in their leadership. He discusses the differences between CEOs of non-profits, religious institutions, and colleges. DePree talks about the importance of both group and individual communication. He describes the role of a chairman versus the role of a board member.
