Photograph caption reads, "Herald-Examiner's cartoonist Karl Hubenthal poses with his catoon titled 'Valley Forge, 1966,' which earned him $100 and a Distinguished Service Award from the Freedoms Foundation in a ceremony at Valley Forge, Pa. His was among 1200 awards made today in honor of George Washington's birthday." Photograph dated February 22, 1967.
