Description
Compton Drive-In. 2111 E. Rosecrans Avenue, Compton, CA 90221. The Compton Drive-In was one of the few lucky Pacific drive-ins that had a mural of Viking Ships on its screen tower, and a car capacity of 1,196. It was opened by Ted Mann in 1949, and has since been closed and razed. http://cinematreasures.org/theaters/3821
