Photograph caption dated December 16, 1964 reads, "David 'Deacon' Jones, Los Angeles Ram defensive end, autographs football for 11-year-old Richard Ziser of Azusa, a patient in the Orthopaedic Hospital at Los Angeles. Jones, who was named 'Most Valuable Ram of the Year' Sunday, donated his $500 prize money to the hospital, his favorite charity."
