Description
Image of a billboard on the beach advertising the Malibu Cove Colony, next to construction equipment, in Malibu, California, with automobiles on the highway in the distance. The sign reads "New exclusive Malibu Cove Colony, finest sheltered beach, limited offering of choice beach lots, Malibu Development Co, and associates" with a smaller sign for "Robert Lee Myer Const. Co."
This is a copy negative (a photograph of another photograph). "Malibu cove colony, Malibu Times photo"--note from donor Ernest Marquez written on envelope in which the negative was received. Title based on note from Ernest Marquez; date devised by cataloger based on automobiles visible on the highway in the distance.
