Photograph of a collection of 28 unidentified Indian baskets on display, photographed ca.1900. They are displayed outside (judging from the foliage visible in the background), on a table covered with a cloth, in front of the table, and leaning against or hanging from a cloth backdrop. They are all shaped like shallow platters or conical bowls. They have differing woven patterns including stripes, zig-zags, diamonds, steps, pinwheels, etc. Displayed in 7 rows, they generally increase in size from top to bottom. Two of them bear legible tags reading: "No. 63, Kern", "No. 147, Kern". Image 39.
