Photograph caption dated November 23, 1962 reads "Welch undergoes emergency treatment. He died later at Sun Valley Receiving Hospital." Guy Welch, 15, was killed by friend Dennis Smith practicing a "quick draw" with a gun belonging to a boarder in Smith's home.
