Photograph caption dated June 23, 1961 reads "Linda Avent, center, of Encino, paints a fence at the Buckley Schools to herald the trip to Greece she will take this summer with other students to study at Anatolia College for six weeks. With her are Bruce Denny and Nancy Hamilton, also Valley residents. Twenty high school students in the area will join the educational trip under the supervision of Mrs. Isabelle P. Buckley and Nicolas Karazissis. The group will depart July 8 and return Aug. 18, visiting Rome, Paris and Athens."
