Shown is Volume 1, Number 10 of KXOA Music Scene published June 10, 1968. The front page includes the announcement of Mothers of Invention's first appearance in Sacramento at Memorial Auditorium on June 22 and a piece on the rise of Bill Cosby in the comedy world (which continues on page 7), who had appeared at the auditorium on June 8. Further material in the periodical includes an interview with The Beatles, in which Paul McCartney describes the origins of "Yesterday," pieces on the bands Country Joe and the Fish (page 2) and The Foundations (page 7), a page-long photograph of Tiny Tim (page 6), and that week's top 30 songs (page 8). It also includes several advertisements, a notable one being for Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey at Esquire Theatre on K Street.
