Photograph of a view of Avalon Harbor, showing the Hermosa I leaving the dock, ca.1900. The crowded harbor is at center. A number of sailing vessels of all sizes can be seen at center, while the steamer Hermosa I is visible in the background at let. Several large buildings can be seen on the shore, including at bath house at right and a large building with a conical at left. Tall hills run across the image in the background. The Hermosa I burned in 1902.
