Photograph caption dated November 23, 1982 reads, "Police and salvage workers raise car after it burst through Harbor Freeway guardrail and sank in Dominguez Channel, killing two women." This is not far from where the Harbor Freeway intersects with the San Diego Freeway, or 405, in Gardena.
