Description
Created in the 1880's under the name Westlake Park, the park was later renamed in honor of General Douglas MacArthur. A color postcard with an aerial view across the park towards high rise apartment, hotel and church buildings such as The Park Wilshire, The Arcady and The Town House. The broad street running around the right side of the park is Wilshire Blvd. The low building on this side of the lake is the boathouse.
