Description
Guests at the dedication of the 60-inch telescope, Palomar Observatory. The fifteen (15) unidentified guests here are seated inside the Oscar G. Mayer memorial building which houses the 60-inch telescope. A small portion of the telescope is seen in the upper left-hand corner of the photograph. Several of the female guests are wearing fur garments; the men are wearing suits.
