PHOTO: ADVERTISEMENTS: WORDEN-MEEKER VARNISH
Shows buildings (including office of California Glove Co.), fence and small part of street car and rails on 3rd St. Buildings have following signs painted on them: Worden-Meeker Varnish Co.; Wear True Merit shoes Buckingham & Necht (J. Chas Green Co. S.F.); J. Chas. Green Co. S.F. Ambrosia Pure Ice Cream.
"H. S. Hoyt" -- stamped on back.
Possibly commissioned by J. Chas Green Co. to document their signs. Company was owned by Jacob Charles Green between 1909 and 914. Firm did outdoor advertising, bill posting, painted signs, treet cars, railroad bulletins. Owned by Jacob Charles Green, formerly of Varney & Green.
