Description
A view of a ski jump constructed in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, from ground level. Blocks of ice three or four feet tall are being transferred by means of tongs, ramps, and pulleys to the upper levels of the jump where they will be turned into snow. A sign on the jump reads "Safway Steel Scaffold Co."
