Description
This is a photograph of Mr. Augustus Wu, the faithful catechist on his return to T'ung-Hua [now Tonghua] who was captured with Fr. Clarence Burns by Manchu bandits and held for nine months. He was considered 'a real hero' who bore all with Fr. Burns during their captivity.
