Description
Title supplied by cataloger.; Photograph was edited for publication purposes.
Photograph caption dated January 10, 1938 reads, "Barbara Stanwyck in court to press fight over boy." Stanwyck is at court responding to her ex-husband's (Frank Fay) assertion that he had not been allowed his foster father's visitation privileges at the time the couple divorced in December, 1935. Stanwyck filed ten affidavits presenting Fay's numerous eccentricities and also shared that their foster son, Dion Anthony Fay, was afraid of his father due to his odd behavior and use of profanity.
