Photograph caption dated December 26, 1959 reads, "Mighty Man in the Line - John Walker, Reseda High's consistently brilliant tackle, proved one of the city's standouts all season long and played one of the best games ever against Fremont in the playoffs. His exploits won him first all-city." Walker was selected for the 1959 Helms All-City football squad.
