Powerine Oil employees along with an independent vacuum sweeper truck help clean up partially refined oil spilled from a broken valve on the Powerine refiner at Lakeland Road (east of Norwalk Boulevard) in Santa Fe Springs. The oil ran down Lakeland, and south on Norwalk, where it stopped in front of Metro State Hospital. Photograph dated January 11, 1979.
