Description
Aerial view of San Jose in the mid 1940s before the postwar population explosion. Much of the valley beyond the city limits is still undeveloped. The tallest building in the center is the Bank of Italy. On the far left the white building is the Hotel De Anza. On the far right is St. Joseph's Cathedral with its green dome.
