Description: Exterior view of the Chogoria church with a large crowd of women gathered in front and Dr Irvine standing in the middle of them. The scene is probably the Woman’s Guild Bible class or possibly from a Revival meeting. ❧ The image is from the collection of Dr Archibald Clive Irvine (1893-1974) showing the period from 1928-1961 at the Chogoria mission which was established in 1922.
