Description
Janet Gault, An Eventful 103 Years. Caption reads ,"Janet Gault, a retired schoolteacher, celebrated her 103rd birthday last week. Her niece, Theresa Lashus, said Gault's life has been one adventure after another. Once when she was on a trip around the world she was thrown off a horse onto Egyptian sands. Gault was a schoolteacher in Honoulu when the Japanese began their attack on Pearl Harbor; she drove her car to a hillside to get a good view. She moved to Sacramento 13 years ago and has been living in a convalescent hospital after breaking her hip seven years ago."
