Description: Shown is the California State Capitol in Sacramento, California, circa 1985. Built in 1874, it underwent extensive restoration in 1982. It has since opened to the public where it presented seven historic museum rooms that illustrated the ambiance of State Government in the late 1800s to the early 1900s.
