A house stands alone on the right and houses are visible in the distance. Printed in the upper right corner is, "First Street, Claremont, Cal." On the back is printed, "Postcard." A one cent stamp is in the right upper corner with a postmark, "Claremont 6PM DEC 21 1911 CA." On the left edge is printed, " Publ. excl. for College Book Store, Claremont, Cal. by Newman Post Card Co., L.A. (Made in Germany)."
