Photograph article dated August 23, 1962 partially reads, "The murder trial of Dr. Marvin Phillips, Sherman Oaks chiropractor, continued today following testimony by an Encino woman who said the doctor incorrectly diagnosed a discoloration on her daughter's back as cancer. Phillips, 35, 13656 Ventura Blvd., is on trial in Los Angeles Superior Court for the murder of Linda Epping, 9, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Epping, 5115 Cahuenga Blvd., North Hollywood. The Epping girl died of cancer Dec. 29, 1961, after Phillips assertedly treated her with iodine and vitamin pills." Pictured are Dr. and Mrs. Marvin Phillips, in Los Angeles Superior Court.
