Photograph was edited for publication purposes Photograph caption dated August 31, 1957 reads, "Calabasas crash scene - This is overall view after Greyhound bus carrying 25 passengers slammed into rear of refrigerator truck moving up steep grade one mile from city limits on Highway 101. Traffic was jammed for more than an hour as rescuers used acetylene torches to free three of 11 injured. Arrow points to another truck which driver backed up against bus to keep it from rolling downhill. Most of passengers were enroute to their homes for long Labor Day weekend.
