Photograph caption dated April 30, 1965 reads, "The Sun Valley Toastmaster Club was formally chartered and officers installed at its recent banquet at the Sir Sico restaurant, 8351 San Fernando Rd., Sun Valley. The club is affiliated with International Toastmasters. Front row, from left, are Ivan Deach Jr., district governor of the parent International Toastmasters; Dr. Deane M. Ames, president of the new club, and the area governor of International Toastmasters, Stanley Conover. Standing, from left, Reg. Stalmer, administrative vice president of new club; Dr. H. B.
