Friends and family attending Gim Fong's funeral services at Rose Hills Memorial Park in Whittier, look on as pallbearers remove the American flag that is draped over Mr. Fong's casket. Mr. Fong, who served in the Army, was the owner and proprietor of a 53-year-old museum-like shop, Fong's Oriental Works of Art, located on Chung King Road in China City, now known as Chinatown. Fong, a master artisan known for his delicate miniatures, passed away October 17th of a brain hemorrhage at the age of 74. Photograph dated October 25, 2005.
